Copperbelt Provincial Minister Lunches Free Tertiary Education Partnership

Government has launched an education program that aims to offer free tertiary education to young people in Zambia targeting 27,000 Youths by the year 2026, Copperbelt Minister ELISHA MATAMBO says government is working in partnership with an International Coalition of Fellowships –ICOF- and Nkana Academy College of Education and Health sciences to offer free tertiary education in education and health sciences.

Mr MATAMBO says this partnership seeks to supplement government efforts in providing free education to youths as a way of improving the social economic status in the country,and, ICOF Colleges Seminary and Universities Academic Registrar Dr VICTOR MWILA says ICOF-CSU is in about 52 countries in Africa and that the organization chose to partner with Zambia because of the Government’s dedication to improving the economy of the country through education.

Meanwhile, Nkana College of Education and Health Sciences Managing Director, Professor DAVID MAKINA, has described the partnership of government, ICOF and the college as a milestone.
